Abstract

The present invention relates to a fuel tank system having a fuel tank and a fuel vapor recovery system, the fuel vapor recovery system comprises a vapor ventilation line with a fluid connection between the fuel tank and a tank and a vapor blow wash line connected to the tank fluid. The multiplex guide is selectively connected to the first region in the fuel vapor recovery system and the second region in the fuel vapor recovery system. The multiplexed guide may move between the first position and the second position, in the first position, the multiplexed guide is connected with the first region fluid and with the second region fluid partition, in the second position, the multiplexed guide is connected with the second region fluid and with the first region fluid partition. The multiplexer is constructed to monitor at least one of the pressures and hydrocarbon concentrations in the first and second regions when connected to the fluid in the first and second regions.
