Abstract

The invention provides a dip solution for improving adhesive force of EPDM stiff cords. The dip solution comprises a first dip solution, a second dip solution and a third dip solution, and is preparedfrom the following raw materials (by weight): the first dip solution includes 800-1000 parts of toluene and 100-150 parts of isocyanate; the second dip solution includes 850-950 parts of RFL dip solution and 30-40 parts of metal oxide and metal salt; and the third dip solution includes 400-600 parts of toluene and 400-600 parts of CHEMLOK238. By improving a traditional two-bath dipping system andby adding isocyanate into one-bath, cohesive property of cords after one-bath is enhanced, cutting fluff is reduced, and adhesive force is increased. By adding metal oxide and salt into two-bath, under the condition of not reducing elongation, stretching strength of cords is raised, and adhesive force is enhanced. In addition, by a three-bath dipping system, the adhesive force is higher and morestable. EPDM dipped cords produced by the method have high adhesive force with rubber, can be widely used for production of large-scale mechanical transmission belts, have high adhesion retention rate, and are storage tolerant.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of dipping EPDM hard wires, in particular to a dipping solution for improving the adhesive force of EPDM hard wires. Background technique [0002] The heat-resistant belt has evolved from the previous chloroprene rubber (CR) to EPDM. The EPDM belt has fully improved the high / low temperature resistance and fatigue performance of the belt, so that the operating life of the transmission belt is longer. [0003] Modern automobiles require synchronous belts to have the same lifespan as the engine (240,000~300,000Km), and to work normally at a service temperature of -35~150°C, which poses new challenges to the fatigue and operational reliability of synchronous belts. Heat-resistant belts have mostly been changed from CR to EPDM. Contents of the invention [0004] The purpose of the present invention is to provide a dipping solution for improving the adhesion of EPDM hard wires in order to remedy the defects of the prior ...
