Abstract

The invention discloses a terahertz wave dual-mode polarized power splitter. The power splitter comprises a base layer, first and second tapered directional couplers, a single-mode waveguide, a multi-mode waveguide, a signal input end, three signal output ends, first and second separation zones on the first tapered directional coupler, first and second multiplex zones on the second tapered directional coupler, a first linear tapered waveguide connecting the first and second separation zones, and a second linear tapered waveguide connecting the first and second multiplex zones. Signals are input from the signal input end, TE (Transverse Electric) waves are coupled to the multi-mode waveguide through the first separation zone and converted into TM (Transverse Magnetic) waves, and then the TMwaves are coupled to the single-mode waveguide and output through the first, second and third signal output ends. The TM waves are coupled to the single-mode waveguide through the first and second separation zones and converted into TE waves through the first and second multiplex conversion zones, and the TE waves are output through the first and second signal output ends.
