The six-rod mechanism can movealong a determined route only through a driving part, and thus the degree of freedom of the six-rod mechanism is one. Various overall mechanisms composed of the six-rod mechanism can extend or retract in two directions, and coupling is achieved on movement in the two directions. A certain functional relationship is achieved, no voluntary movement exists, and thus the degree of freedom of the overall mechanisms composed of the six-rod mechanism is also one. Thus, use of constraint parts is reduced, the quality of the overall mechanisms is improved, and the retracted size is decreased; and meanwhile, the rigidity of the overall mechanisms is high because of the over-constraint characteristics of a spatial mechanism. The overall mechanisms further have pretty good structural symmetry, extension in the two directions in a plane is easy to achieve, and thus the six-rod mechanism can be applied to a spatial extension arm, a solar battery array truss and a large satellite plane extension antenna supporting truss of the aerospace field.
