Abstract

The invention discloses a white-light OLED device driven by AC. The white-light OLED device comprises the components of a conductive anode, a sandwich structure which is composed of two independent AClight emitting units and an electrode connecting layer arranged between the two AC light emitting units, and a conductive cathode, wherein the conductive anode, the sandwich structure and the conductive cathode are successively deposited on a light outlet surface. Each of the two AC light emitting units comprise a hole injection layer, a hole transport layer, a light emitting layer, an electron transport layer and an electron injection layer, wherein the hole injection layer, the hole transport layer, the light emitting layer, the electron transport layer and the electron injection layer aresuccessively deposited. Each AC light emitting unit further comprises one or two dielectric layers. Through applying an AC signal among the conductive anode, the electrode connecting layer and the conductive cathode, the two independent AC light emitting units are driven. The positive half period of the AC signal drives one AC light emitting unit, and the negative half period of the AC signal drives the other AC light emitting unit. Relative to an OLED surface light emitting device which is disclosed in prior art and driven by an AC power supply and comprises the light emitting unit that is aDC light emitting unit, the white-light OLED device driven by AC current further improves brightness, stability and service life of the white-light OLED device.
