Abstract

The mercerizing penetrant comprises 20 to 30 wt% of silicon-modified polyether, 10 to 20 wt% of fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether sulfate and 10 to 20 wt% of alkyl diphenyl ether sulfonate, with the balance being water, wherein the silicon-modified polyether has a number-average molecular weight of 200 to 2000 g/mol and has a general structural formula as described in the specification. In the formula, R is a straight-chain or branched-chain C6-18 alkyl group; R' is a straight-chain or branched-chain C1-10 alkylene group or a C6-10 arylene group; m is in a range of 1 to 20; n is in a range of 0 to 20; and m and n are both integers. The preparation method for the mercerizing penetrant is simple to operate. Through mutual synergism of the components of the mercerizing penetrant, the prepared mercerizing penetrant has alkali resistance of 300 g/L and shows good penetration performance and alkali resistancestability in an alkali solution with a concentration of 180 to 300 g/L; and the mercerizing penetrant has low foam, does not influence the recovery of alkaline liquor and obviously improves mercerizing effect.
