coating for passenger vehicles with anti-flash
rust function. By weight, it comprises 10-20 parts Fischer-Tropsch
wax, 15-20 parts sulfonated
lanolin cerium /
lanthanum salt, 30-70 parts water, 1-4 parts
dimethyl ethanolamine phenanthreneate, 2 parts dihydrazide terephthalate, and 1-5 parts isomeric
tridecyl alcohol polyoxyethylene ether TO-8 modified with
ethyl acetoacetate methacrylate. It primarily addresses the problem of flash
rust on the inner walls of
car door cavities and other body seams when using water-based products, and solves the
corrosion problem caused by long-term inward
evaporation of
moisture from door cavities and seams when applying thick coatings. This invention uses
dimethyl ethanolamine phenanthreneate at a moderate
vapor pressure to ensure emulsification properties while its vapor-phase
corrosion inhibition function prevents flash
rust. Furthermore, as
moisture and amine gradually evaporate, the self-crosslinking of the
ketone carbonyl-
hydrazide groups gradually decreases the HLB value of the
system, giving the
coating good
water resistance in the early stages of
drying, achieving a perfect water-based alternative.
