Abstract

The invention relates to an electrochemical water treatment system and method. The system comprises an electrolytic cell, a water pump and a filter tank which are sequentially connected, a water inletend of the water pump is connected with a water outlet of the electrolytic cell, and a water outlet end of the water pump is connected with a water inlet of the filter tank. After being electrolyzedin the electrolytic cell, wastewater is transferred to the filter tank through a water pump, filtered through a filter membrane in the filter tank, and discharged from a water outlet of the filter tank. According to the electrochemical water treatment system and method provided by the invention, the filter tank is added behind the electrolytic cell to further filter the electrolyzed wastewater, greatly improves the water quality of the discharged water after treatment, and removes the sediment attached to electrodes by emitting ultrasonic waves, and a backwashing device is used to wash the filter membrane to ensure continuous and efficient treatment on industrial wastewater.
