Embodiment Construction

[0028] The present invention is described in detail below:

[0029] In this embodiment, a production method of a titanium alloy propeller for polar marine environment, the steps are as follows:

[0030] 1. Method for producing titanium alloy propeller raw materials for polar marine environment:

[0031] 1) Vacuum consumable melting furnace is used to smelt titanium alloy, and all the first-grade sponge titanium, Ti-Sn master alloy, Al-Mo master alloy, sponge Zr, crystalline Si, Cr iron, Ni iron, rare earth element Ho holmium, etc. The alloy elements are mixed, and then pressed into electrodes, and finally the electrodes and residual materials are welded into consumable electrodes, smelted (melting temperature 1800 ~ 1900 ℃), and cast into ingots by die casting. The average thickness of the ingots is 200-300mm;

[0032] 2) Clean the surface of the ingot billet and complete the quality inspection;

[0033] 3) Packing: Use straps for circumferential and radial packing.

Abstract

Disclosed is a titanium alloy propeller for a polar marine environment and a production method thereof. The titanium alloy propeller comprises the chemical components of, by weight, 0.1%-0.5% of Sn, 4%-6% of Al, 0.5%-1% of Mo, 0.2%-0.6% of Zr, 1%-2% of Si, 0.5%-1% of Cr, 1%-2% of Ni, 5%-7% of Ho and 79.9%-85.2% of Ti. A method in which casting, machining and heat treatment are conducted simultaneously is adopted for manufacturing the titanium alloy propeller, the thickness is 200-300 mm, yield strength is not lower than 1500 MPa, tensile strength is not lower than 1700 MPa, and ductility is not lower than 20%. Low-temperature impact absorbing energy Kv2 at -20 DEG C is not lower than 400 J, low-temperature impact absorbing energy Kv2 at -40 DEG C is not lower than 350 J, low-temperature impact absorbing energy Kv2 at -60 DEG C is not lower than 300 J, and low-temperature impact absorbing energy Kv2 at -80 DEG C is not lower than 250 J. The surface hardness value is not lower than 100 HRC, and the corrosion area does not exceed 0.1% after the titanium alloy propeller is exposed for 960 d in the -80 DEG C low-temperature marine environment.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a titanium alloy propeller and a production method thereof, more specifically, to a titanium alloy propeller for polar marine environments and a production method thereof. Background technique [0002] Titanium alloy has the characteristics of light weight, high strength, metallic luster, and corrosion resistance. It is manufactured into marine propellers and is suitable for long-term use in marine corrosive environments. With the continuous expansion of polar ocean development, the operating environment requirements for ships used in polar ocean environments are becoming more and more stringent. For example: in the severe cold working environment of the polar region, titanium alloy propellers are required to have high low temperature toughness; in the corrosive working environment of the ocean, titanium alloy propellers are required to have high corrosion resistance; there are a large number of floating ice in the pola...
