Embodiment 1

[0031] 1) After the soil sample is air-dried, pass through a soil sieve with a diameter of 2 mm to remove larger roots.

[0032] 2) Adjust the height of the rear support so that the angle between the bottom of the root removal box and the horizontal plane is 20 degrees, turn on the power switch 20, and adjust the DC voltage regulator from 18 to 10 V. At this time, the air volume of the blower 4 is moderate.

[0033] 3) Use a stainless steel spatula to take about 100g of soil samples, and slowly pour them into the feeding plate 1. The soil samples are dispersed by the vibration of the second vibrator 13 at the bottom of the feeding plate 1, and slide into the root removal box.

[0034] 4) Under the vibration of the first vibrator 2 at the bottom of the lower root box unit 5, the soil sample is dispersed into a thin layer and slides down in the root box unit. The metal bottom plate 3 of the root removal box is connected to the positive pole of the high-voltage electrostatic gene...

Embodiment 2

[0040] When the quality of the soil sample is large, 1) Air-dry the soil sample, pass through a soil sieve with a diameter of 2mm, remove larger roots, and store the soil sample in a polyethylene ziplock bag.

[0041] 2) Adjust the height of the rear support 6 so that the angle between the bottom of the root removal box and the horizontal plane is 21 degrees. Turn on the power switch 20 and adjust the DC voltage regulator to about 18 to 11 V. At this time, the air output of the blower 4 is relatively high.

[0042] 3) Use a stainless steel shovel to take about 100g of soil samples, and slowly pour them into the feeding plate 1. After being dispersed by the second vibrator 13, the soil samples slide from the feeding plate into the lower root removal box unit 5.

[0043] 4) Under the vibration of the first vibrator 2 at the bottom of the lower root box unit 5 , the soil sample is dispersed into a thin layer and slides downward on the metal bottom plate 3 inside the lower root bo...

Abstract

The invention discloses a device for efficiently removing roots from soil samples. The device comprises a root removing box, a front bracket, a rear bracket, a soil collecting box, a blower, a metal mesh, a high voltage electrostatic generator and a plurality of first vibrators. The front bracket and the rear bracket respectively support the root removing box from the front end and the rear end, and keep the root removing box tilted. A feeding port and a discharging port are respectively arranged on the front end and the rear end of the root removing box. A metal base plate is arranged on theinner side of the bottom of the root removing box. The metal mesh is placed on the upper part of the root removing box. The blower is arranged at the upper part of the front end of the root removing box and blows toward the metal mesh to the rear end of the root removing box. A positive electrode and a negative electrode of the high voltage electrostatic generator are electrically connected to themetal base plate and the metal mesh, respectively. The first vibrator is arranged at the bottom of the root removing box to vibrate the root removing box. The soil collecting box is placed at the rear end of the root removing box for collecting the soil samples wherein the roots are removed. According to the device for efficiently removing the roots from the soil samples, the technical defects inthe prior art that the workload for removing the roots from the soil samples is large, the soil analysis is slow, and the efficiency is low are solved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a device for efficiently removing roots in soil samples. Background technique [0002] After collecting soil samples from ecosystems such as farmland, forests, and grasslands, plant root residues can be found in the soil samples, especially when the aboveground biomass is large, there will be a large number of plant roots in the soil. The contents of various components in root residues and soil particles are quite different. For example, the carbon and nitrogen contents of plant roots collected in some farmland ecosystems are about 40% and 1%, respectively, while the carbon and nitrogen contents of soil particles in soil samples are in the 1% and 0.1%, the carbon and nitrogen content of plant roots in soil samples is much higher than that of soil particles. Therefore, if the root residues in the soil sample are not removed, especially when the amount of residual root system in the soil sample is large, it will bring a large de...
