Problems solved by technology

[0005] However, the prior art does not take different approaches to different thermal runaway stages of the battery system
In terms of handling after a fire, none of the existing fire extinguishing agents can effectively extinguish the flame of the power battery in a timely manner
Dry powder fire extinguishing devices will generate a large amount of dust, which will cause serious pollution to the battery box; foam fire extinguishing devices will also cause large pollution; inert gases such as carbon dioxide need to work under high pressure, and loading and transportation on ships have certain security risks
According to the FAA's survey results, once a lithium-ion battery burns, it can only be extinguished after it is consumed. The currently used Halon-1301 fire extinguishing agent (the main component is heptafluoropropane) is very effective in extinguishing the burning of lithium batteries. micro

Abstract

The invention discloses a method, system and device for treating thermal runaway of an electric ship battery system. According to the scheme of the invention, different treatment methods are adopted for different thermal runaway stages of a battery system, and the thermal runaway in different stages is processed in a graded manner according to the smoke concentration detected by a smoke sensor, temperature signals at different detection points of a battery pack, and voltage signals of a battery pack lug. If the primary treatment condition is satisfied and the secondary treatment condition is not satisfied, an axial flow fan is controlled to operate at a low speed to perform forced ventilation and heat dissipation on the battery pack. If the secondary treatment condition is satisfied and the tertiary treatment condition is not satisfied, a battery management system is controlled to cut off the power output of the battery pack, and the axial flow fan is controlled to operate at a high speed. If the tertiary treatment condition is satisfied, a battery discarding device is controlled to throw the battery pack into water for rapid fire extinguishing, so that the damages to a ship causedby the battery pack fire can be minimized in the shortest time. Moreover, the discarded battery pack can be salvaged to eliminate the pollution to the water quality.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of electric ships, in particular to a processing method, system and device for thermal runaway of an electric ship battery system. Background technique [0002] With the advancement of the concept of energy saving and environmental protection, the pollution of inland waterway ships has attracted more and more attention. Traditional ships are driven by diesel internal combustion engines. Although the power is relatively high, it has caused certain harm to the environment. Especially when the diesel oil leaks, the water quality of the river is seriously polluted. Therefore, it is necessary to speed up the promotion of clean energy on ships, and design a reasonable power system fault handling method. As an important and ideal emerging product, electric ships can basically meet the above conditions, which is in line with the general trend of the shipping industry to actively promote the application of new energy power. ...
