Abstract

The invention discloses a nano silica sol synthesis and application method. By application of the method, silica sol (S2-SiO2NPs) in particle size of 2-5nm can be prepared; two weeks before rice booting, cadmium can be remarkably inhibited from migration and accumulation in rice grains by foliage spraying of sol diluted liquid, and the inhibitory effect is evidently superior to that of spraying ofnormal nano silica sol (S1-SiO2NPs) in same dilution ratio. The method is simple in synthesis step, low in cost and easy to popularize, and an efficient and convenient technique can be provided for cadmium non-point source pollution prevention and control and reduction of rice cadmium content of paddy fields.
