Abstract

The invention discloses a vehicle height sensor based on laser radar ranging in an airbag. The vehicle height sensor comprises a sensor body and a reflector; the sensor body is connected with an air intake passage of an ECAS system airbag, and the sensor body comprises a laser emitting probe and a laser receiving module; and the reflector is mounted on the inner bottom surface of the airbag and located directly under the laser emitting probe and the laser receiving module. The vehicle height sensor adopts a laser radar ranging principle to effectively measure the absolute height information ofthe airbag to characterize the height of a vehicle frame, the measuring process is performed in the inner space of the closed airbag, and the vehicle height sensor has the characteristics such as high measuring precision, long service life and good reliability; and meanwhile, the height sensor is simple in structure, the assembly process does not need a calibration link, and the vehicle height sensor is higher in assembly efficiency and easy maintenance.
