Problems solved by technology

Since the target energy in the matched filtering results is mainly concentrated near the main lobe, this method only needs to use a few points near the main lobe to construct the minimum mean square error filter. Compared with the APC method, the calculation amount of the MF-RMMSE method is greatly reduced

Embodiment

[0092] Embodiment: In this example, the emission pulse width is T P = 4μs, the bandwidth is a linear frequency modulation pulse of B = 4MHZ, and the sampling rate is f s =8MHZ, the number of sampling points in the pulse is N=32, the number of distance units is L=200, there are three targets in the scene, the positions are respectively in units 93 and 100, and the signal-to-noise ratios before detection are 40dB and 70dB respectively.

[0093] like figure 1 As shown, it is the matched filtering result obtained in step 1; figure 2 As shown, the distance image is obtained for step 2, and it can be seen from the figure that a strong target is estimated; image 3 As shown, the distance image obtained in step 4 is estimated to obtain a weak target.

Abstract

The invention discloses a rapid self-adaptive pulse compression method, and distance sidelobes can be effectively inhibited, a problem that a large target shields a small target in a multi-target scene can be rapidly solved, and the distance pulse response of each target can be accurately estimated. The iterative filtering is performed on a matched filtering result by using a single-point adaptivefilter, in each iteration, estimation results of L distance units obtained in the previous iteration are used as prior information of the next iteration, a current filter is adaptively updated, a distance image pulse response is solved, and therefore, a strong target is detected. The strong target is removed from echo, then the iterative filtering is carried out, a small target is estimated, andthe iteration is carried out in this way to accurately estimate the target in the scene. Compared with an MF-RMMSE method, the method has the advantages that the sidelobe suppression performance is equivalent, but the calculated amount is reduced by multiple times.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of microwave radar measurement, and in particular relates to a fast self-adaptive pulse compression method. Background technique [0002] In pulse radar systems, matched filter processing is usually used to extract the range image impulse response of the target from the received signal. However, in multi-target scenarios, the high side lobes of strong targets will interfere or even block nearby weak targets, or be treated as false targets and cause false alarms, seriously affecting target detection and parameter estimation. In 2006, "IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems", Volume 42, Issue 2, Pages 572 to 584, Shannon D. blunt et al. published "Adaptive pulse compression via MMSE estimation" in the article A method based on the minimum Adaptive pulse compression method based on mean square error criterion——APC, which can suppress range sidelobes adaptively, but has high computational complex...
