Problems solved by technology

Because the individuals are too small to have the value of artificial large-scale breeding and breeding, researchers cannot buy the river crabs needed for experimental research from the market.
At present, there are almost no relevant technical reports on artificial breeding and breeding of river crabs, and they are still in a blank state

Embodiment 1

[0018] 1. Selection of species of crabs: adult Yunnan brook crabs caught in the wild weigh 30-50g and are healthy and complete;

[0019] 2. Use 2 / 1000 potassium permanganate aqueous solution for 15 minutes to soak and disinfect the crabs, and then soak in clean water for 15 minutes before putting them into the crab breeding box; the breeding box is made of 1mm stainless steel plate, each 100 meters long. ×Width 60×Height 30cm;

[0020] 3. Put 3 male crabs and 6 female crabs in the breeding box, the ratio of male to female is 1:2;

[0021] 4. One-half of the crab breeding tank is a pool, and the water depth is kept at about 5cm. The pool can be connected to a conventional aquarium filtration system to maintain uninterrupted circulation of pool water;

[0022] 5. One-half of the brook crab breeding box is a plank (0.5-1cm higher than the water surface of the pool) for the crabs to live in, and 4 wooden nests with openings at both ends are placed. The internal space of the recta...

Embodiment 2

[0026] All the steps are the same as in Example 1, except that 3. In the step, 3 male crabs and 9 female crabs are placed in the brook crab breeding box, and the ratio of male to female is 1:3.

Abstract

The invention is a breeding method of freshwater crabs under laboratory conditions. Each seed breeding crab has a weight of 30-50 g and a healthy and complete body, and the method comprises the steps:disinfecting the seed crabs with a potassium permanganate aqueous solution, performing cleaning, putting 3 male crabs and 6-9 female crabs into a breeding box with a water pool with water of a depthof 5 cm, connecting the breeding box with an aquarium filter system, maintaining water circulation, arranging a wood board which is higher than the water pool and applied to activity and inhabitancy in the breeding box of the freshwater crabs, placing a wooden nest, controlling the room temperature at 21-26 DEG C and light intensity at 80-120 Lx, performing illumination for 12 hours, breeding theplaced seed crabs in the breeding box for about 15 days, centralizing the female crabs with egg-attached pleopod in another breeding box, and hatching the larvae so as to ensure the fertility of the female crabs and the survival rate of young crabs. Artificial and efficient reproduction of experimental crabs can be achieved under laboratory conditions.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a wild river crab breeding method under laboratory conditions. Background technique [0002] River crab is a freshwater crab of about 30g. Most of them live in caves on the banks of streams, rivers, lakes, and ditches. They are semi-terrestrial arthropods. Because the individuals are too small to be used for artificial large-scale breeding and eating, researchers cannot buy the river crabs needed for experimental research from the market. At present, there are almost no related technical reports on artificial breeding and breeding of river crabs, and they are still in a blank state. The project team has long used river crabs to study Paragonimus disease research, animal liver fibrosis and pulmonary fibrosis animal model development. In order to meet the research needs, the breeding and breeding methods of river crabs under laboratory conditions have been researched for many years. Contents of the invention [0003] The purp...
