The invention relates to a large-scale breeding method for odontobutis potamophila based on timely temperature control. The method specifically includes the following steps that (1), parent fishes arebred before production, wherein waterweeds are transplanted in a parent fish culture pool, palaemonetes sinensis is put in the pool, and meanwhile odontobutis potamophila parents are added accordingto the ratio of males to females; (2), an environment is created, wherein fresh snails are put in to improve the water quality; (3), an artificial laying nest is arranged, wherein two arc green tilesare bundled relatively to form the tubular artificial laying nest; (4), artificial spawning is performed, wherein when it is found that eggs are attached onto the artificial laying nest, water in thepool is drained through pumping, the odontobutis potamophila parents are caught, a spawning pool is built, and oxytocins are injected into the odontobutis potamophila parents; (5), timely temperaturecontrol is performed for incubation, wherein when growing to the neurulation stage, embryos are timely transferred into a room for temperature-controlled incubation. The method reduces the adverse effect of environmental stress on embryo development at the early stage of incubation of fertilized eggs; compared with temperature-controlled incubation conducted in the whole process, the energy can besaved by 73%, the deformity rate is reduced by 8%, the incubation rate of the fertilized eggs is improved by 11%, and the incubation period in the method can be shortened by 5-7 days compared with the normal-temperature incubation period.
