The invention discloses a preparation method of
sulfur-containing steel for
engineering machinery. The preparation method comprises the following steps that (1), converter
smelting is carried out, specifically, a molten iron pre-desulfurization procedure is not carried out before the converter
smelting process, and in the converter
smelting process, the
mass percentage content of C at the end point of a converter is controlled to be greater than or equal to 0.06% or the tapping
oxygen level is controlled to be less than or equal to 400ppm, and the tapping temperature is controlled to be greater than or equal to 1560 DEG C; and (2), converter tapping is carried out, specifically, converter bottom stirring is started before
molten steel tapping, the oxidability and the P content of
molten steel are reduced, and deslagging is carried out before converter tapping, a carburant is added for pre-deoxidation in the early stage of tapping, then an
alloy, a deoxidizing agent and
slag charge aresequentially added for deoxidation alloying,
argon blowing is kept in the whole deoxidation alloying process, and a double-gear mode is adopted for tapping in the later stage of tapping. According tothe preparation method, the content of
sulfur in the steel can be stably controlled, the preparation process is simple and controllable, and by placing the slagging-
off treatment in the converter tapping stage, the situation that after the slagging-
off treatment is placed in the LF treatment, part of steel and iron materials are lost is prevented.
