The invention discloses a method for breeding
aphidius gifuensis utilizing a redundant floating tobacco
seedling. The method comprises the steps of 1, gathering the redundant floating tobacco
seedling after cured tobacco is transplanted to a
aphidius gifuensis breeding base, and conducting topdressing cultivation in a
seedling growing pond vacated after the cured tobacco is transplanted so as to resume the growth of the redundant floating tobacco seedling; 2,
transplanting the tobacco seedling after the growth is resumed onto a new floating seedling growing plate, removing old leaves at the lower part during
transplantation, only reserving 2 leaves at the upper part and center leaves, and shearing half of the two leaves at the upper part after
transplantation; 3, after two new leaves are grown on the tobacco seedling, shearing or tearing
myzus persicae breeding leaves into small pieces, scattering evenly the small pieces on the tobacco seedling, and covering the tobacco seedling using an
insect prevention net cover in time after
grafting myzus persicae; 4, when the average amount of
myzus persicae on every
plant reaches 150-200,
grafting aphidius gifuensis, and conducting net covering. The method for breeding aphidius gifuensis utilizing the redundant floating tobacco seedling is not only high in aphidius gifuensis breeding efficiency, but also makes full use of the redundant floating tobacco seedling for
waste treatment and a seedling growing
greenhouse vacated after the cured tobacco is transplanted, thus the aphidius gifuensis breeding cost is drastically lowered, and the aphidius gifuensis breeding cycle is shortened.
