This invention relates to the field of
aquaculture technology, and more particularly to a method for large-scale
grouper fry rearing based on outdoor-indoor
relay rearing. The method includes: using black film ponds as outdoor
hatching ponds, disinfecting and conditioning the water before controlling its quality; feeding
grouper fertilized eggs in stages after
hatching, adjusting the feed according to the mouth size of the fry, and preparing for transfer when 60% of the fry have a mouth size >2200μm; using PVC ponds as indoor rearing ponds, introducing water after multi-stage
filtration, disinfection, and detoxification, and controlling the temperature to maintain an indoor-
outdoor temperature difference of <2℃; transferring qualified fry to the indoor ponds, disinfecting them with a micro-flow of water, and then distributing them into the rearing ponds; cultivating, strengthening, and disinfecting
live feed; feeding the fry in stages indoors according to mouth size, initiating feed
acclimatization when 60% of the fry have a mouth size >5mm; controlling the fry density and conducting daily management. The advantages are: integrating the low-cost, large-scale outdoor operation with the high
controllability of indoor rearing, improving fry
survival rate and
seedling quality, and meeting the needs of large-scale
aquaculture.
