Abstract

The invention relates to the technical fields of rice breeding and molecular biology, and discloses multiple-effect QTL related to regulation and control of rice amylose content and gel consistency, molecular markers and application. The multiple-effect QTL is named as qAC-GC-1 and is located on a DNA fragment of chromosome 4, the genetic distance is 10.1 cM to 12.2 cM, the physical distance is 4207206 bp to 4766887 bp, and the LOD values of the amylose content and the gel consistency are 6.03 and 5.48 respectively. The molecular markers are respectively named as Indel Tal-1 and Indel Tal-2. The multiple-effect QTL can effectively increase the amylose content and the gel consistency of rice, can accelerate the cultivation of rice with moderate amylose content and high gel consistency in the molecular assisted breeding process of rice, and optimizes the quality of rice. The method is simple, convenient, feasible, safe, effective, beneficial to improving the rice quality and suitable forlarge-scale popularization and application.
