The method comprises the following steps: 1) dissolving the tembotrions product in an aqueous solution, and heating; 2) addingan adsorbent, and carrying out heat preservation and hot filtration; and 3) controlling the temperature, adjusting the pH value of the aqueous solution to be less than 3, cooling, and crystallizing purified tembotrions from the solution. According to the purification method of the sulfadione product, the content of cyanide impurities in the sulfadione product can be greatly reduced, the purity ofthe product is improved, and the content of the cyanide impurities is reduced from 1327 ppm to 100 ppm or below by performing Ames detection on the tembotrions product before purification and the purified product.
