Abstract

The invention discloses a self-stabilizing fusion cage used between posterior articular processes of cervical vertebrae. The fusion cage comprises a main fusion cage body which is positioned between upper and lower articular processes when the fusion cage is placed, wherein a fixed guide plate forming a certain angle with the main fusion cage body is fixed to the front end face of the main fusioncage body; the fixed guide plate and the main fusion cage body are fixed between the upper and lower articular processes through fixing screws; bone grafting grooves are formed in the upper and lowerend faces of the main fusion cage body; the upper end face and the lower end face of the main fusion cage body are respectively provided with a plurality of anti-dislocation sawteeth evenly distributed on the periphery of the bone grafting grooves; the anti-dislocation sawteeth and the fixing screws act together to prevent the fusion cage from shifting due to external force after fusion; and a plurality of fusion cage imbedding and holding holes are formed in one side, close to main fusion cage body, of the fixed guide plate. The fusion cage is simple in structure and easy to use and can avoidthe frequent phenomena that fusion devices slip, spines are unstable and a fusion rate is low in a minimally-invasive passage apophyseal joint fusion technology and a series of complications caused by poor placement positions of fusion devices in operations.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of self-stabilizing fusion devices between posterior cervical articular processes, in particular to a self-stabilizing fusion device between posterior cervical articular processes. Background technique [0002] There are two main methods for fusion of facet joints in the lower cervical spine: one is the conventional facet joint fusion technique, surgically incision tissue, removal of facet joint cartilage, implantation of bone blocks, and then fixation with posterior cervical screws; It is a minimally invasive technique that uses an endoscope to remove the cartilage between the facet joints and implants a facet joint fusion cage. In clinical practice, conventional facet joint fusion surgery has large injuries, heavy bleeding, and slow recovery; however, the minimally invasive channel facet joint fusion technique may cause fusion cage slippage, spinal instability, and low fusion rate.
