Abstract

The invention discloses a novel broadband surface acoustic wave filter which comprises a signal input end, a first DMS type filter, a second DMS type filter and a signal output end, wherein the firstDMS type filter and the second DMS type filter are connected in parallel. The first DMS type filter comprises a bus bar, an interdigital transducer structure and reflecting gratings which are sequentially cascaded, the interdigital transducer structure comprises at least three interdigital transducers, and the reflecting gratings are arranged between the adjacent interdigital transducers. The second DMS-type filter has the same structure as the first DMS-type filter, and a novel resonance peak of a band-pass band of the second DMS-type filter is set to be aligned with a resonance frequency ofa grid resonance peak of the band-pass band of the first DMS-type filter. By adding the reflecting gratings in the DMS type filters and aligning the frequencies of the two resonant peaks with the samephase, the effect of superposing the resonant peaks is achieved, so that the improved filter can have a wider passband, phase inversion is not needed during passband synthesis, and the design difficulty is reduced.
