The method of manufacturing the multi-chamber arrester includes the following steps: vulcanizing an arrester having the electrodes disposed therein, and subjecting the vulcanized arrester to additional thermal conditioning; in the temperature adjustment process, firstly heating the arrester to 100 DEG C, keeping the temperature for one hour, and then performing three heating cycles, wherein the three heating cycles includes the steps: heating to 200 DEG C, keeping the temperature for one hour, subsequently cooling to 100 DEG C, and keeping the temperature for one hour; and then cooling the multi-chamber arrester. The method has the technical effect that: the multi-chamber arrester which needs to be used in various working environments and has improved mechanical and electrical characteristics can be manufactured.
