The coating comprises a quinoline nano metal-organic framework material (denoted as NMOFs) and a water-based acrylic resin matrix. Zinc phosphate is a common anticorrosive pigment / filler used for improving the protective performance of organic coating materials at present, but due to poor water solubility of zinc phosphate, zinc ions and phosphate ions in an aqueous solution are insufficiently released, and the damaged part of a coating cannot be repaired. According to the preparation method, zinc phosphate is loaded into a NMOFs material, and a self-repairing coating is prepared, so that zinc phosphate molecules can be gradually released, and the self-repairing performance of the coating is realized; and the self-repairing coating has the characteristic of quick pH response, can quickly release zinc phosphate, and can repair the damaged part of the coating in time so as to prolong the corrosion resistance of the carbon steel base material.
