Abstract

The invention discloses an over-current diagnosis processing circuit and a low-side driving circuit. A magnitude of a current flowing through a low-side switch is adjusted through the cooperation of a current-limiting transistor and a transistor control circuit when an over-current fault happens to the low-side driving circuit. Through cooperation of the current-limiting transistor and the transistor control circuit, current-limiting protection can be performed on the low-side switch when the over-current fault occurs in the low-side driving circuit. A MCU is not used in a fault diagnosis and processing process, and the switching speed of the current limiting transistor is at a nanosecond level so that when the over-current fault occurs, the hardware response time of the over-current fault diagnosis and processing circuit is only at a microsecond level at the longest. The circuit does not need any operation of software, is quick in response, is low in requirements for the power consumption of the circuit, avoids the damages to circuit devices, and improves the safety.
