Abstract

The method comprises the following steps: (1) dissolving a sodium sulfate decahydrate solid to form a sodium sulfate solution; (2) adding sodium carbonate and sodium hydroxide into the sodium sulfate solution, reacting to form a solid precipitate, and adjusting the pH value of the solution to 8-10; (3) carrying out filtering and advanced oxidation processes on the solution to remove solid impurities and organic matter impurities; (4) performing secondary filtration on the solution, adsorbing impurities through activated carbon, and adsorbing calcium and magnesium ions through resin; (5) filtering the solution through a precision filter, so that the contents of various ions and impurities in the filtrate meet the design requirements of bipolar membrane electrodialysis; and (6) treating the filtrate through a bipolar membrane electrodialysis process to obtain sodium hydroxide and a sulfuric acid solution, and recycling the low-concentration sodium sulfate solution.
