Abstract

The invention discloses an airborne external radiation source radar multipath clutter suppression method. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a plurality of echo signals and impure reference signals of an airborne external radiation source radar; uniformly segmenting the reference signal and the echo signals received by the plurality of observation antennas to obtain an equivalent reference pulse signal and an equivalent echo pulse signal; performing distance matching by using the equivalent reference signal and the equivalent echo signal to obtain a space-time snapshot signal of the to-be-detected distance unit; constructing a multipath clutter observation model; converting a multipath clutter suppression problem into a weight vector optimization problem in the multipath clutter observation model; solving an optimization problem by adopting a minimum mean square error algorithm based on an exponential forgetting window to obtain a snapshot signal of the distance unit to be detected after multipath clutter suppression; and performing target detection by using the snapshot signal of the distance unit to be detected after multipath clutter suppression. According to the method provided by the invention, the robust multipath clutter suppression performance can be obtained with low complexity.
