Abstract

The photovoltaic cell comprises a carbon nanotube layer which is deposited on the top part of a monocrystalline silicon substrate; a silicon dioxide isolation layer growing on the surface of the carbon nanotube layer in a thermal oxidation manner; electrode columns which are symmetrically welded at the left and right ends of the silicon dioxide isolation layer; and a back electrode coating the bottom part of the monocrystalline silicon substrate. By using the carbon nanotubes, a strong back surface field and high conductivity are provided for the photovoltaic cell, the contact area of graphite and silicon is increased, the efficiency of the photovoltaic cell is improved, the reflectivity of illumination can be greatly reduced, the preparation process is simple, the manufacturing cost is low, and the preparation method is suitable for large-scale popularization and application.
