Benefits of technology

This patented technology uses different methods to break down the outer layer (the shell) covering the stone called Punjaponica fruits' necrotic stalk into small pieces that help it be more easily absorbed with nutrients like flavonoids or polyphenols found naturally within them. These tiny fragments make better use than pure peptides alone because they have higher levels of activity compared to their parent compounds themselves due to greater surface area exposed on the inside walls. Additionally, this technique allows for effective separation between valuable components without adding too much chemical agents during the digestion step. Overall, these technical results lead to improved efficiency and economics when producing certain types of food products containing natural ingredients.

Problems solved by technology

This patented technical describes methods for producing procyguannides called probacinoside A and related molecules like quercitrin B and luteolin. These chemicals play important roles in maintaining healthy cell membranes while being beneficial ingredients in many products including drugs and diet supplements. They help improve their quality and functionality through reducing harmful effects on human body cells caused by excessive oxidative stressors. Additionally, these materials may provide valuable resources for research purposes due to their unique properties.

Abstract

The invention provides a method for extracting procyanidine from aronia melanocarpa fruits. The method comprises the following steps: A) mashing aronia melanocarpa fruits, and filtering to obtain juice and pomace; b) fermenting the pomace by adopting aspergillus niger, trichoderma viride and bacillus licheniformis to obtain pomace fermentation liquor; c) mixing the fruit juice with the pomace fermentation liquor to obtain mixed liquor, and performing enzymolysis on the mixed liquor by adopting pectinase and papain to obtain an enzymatic hydrolysate; and D) separating and purifying the enzymatic hydrolysate to obtain a procyanidine extract. According to the method, pomace cell walls can be degraded to facilitate dissolution of the proanthocyanidins, so that the proanthocyanidins in the pomace are extracted to the greatest extent, the whole process conditions are mild, required equipment is simple, and large-scale and industrial production can be realized; meanwhile, waste utilization of the aronia melanocarpa pomace can be achieved through the method, development of the aronia melanocarpa deep processing industry is promoted, and the additional value of the aronia melanocarpa is increased.
