The coating slurry formula comprises the following components in parts by weight: 100 parts of pure acrylate soft emulsion, 35-45 parts of pure acrylate hard emulsion, 16-24 parts of a foam stabilizer, 24-36 parts of titanium dioxide slurry, 4-12 parts of modified zeolite, 0.5-1 part of a thickening agent and 0.5-1 part of a dispersing agent. The preparation method of the coating slurry for removing formaldehyde and purifying air comprises the following steps: S1, weighing; S2, fully mixing titanium dioxide, modified zeolite and a formaldehyde scavenger, and uniformly dispersing; S3, uniformly dispersing pure acrylate emulsion; S4, putting the titanium dioxide slurry obtained in S2 into the emulsion obtained in S3, stirring and dispersing uniformly; and S5, adding a thickening agent to adjust the viscosity of the slurry.
