Abstract

The bearing device of the present invention consists of a bearing housing (21), a rolling bearing (18) and an extruded part (36). The extrusion rests flat against the outer ring of the rolling bearing (18) and only partially in the region of the bearing seat (21). This region is preferably linear or strip-shaped and substantially axially oriented. This facilitates the installation and removal of the rolling bearing (18) from the bearing housing (21) and prevents co-rotation of the bearing outer ring even in bearing housings with relatively large tolerances.
