The gluey silica-containing monomer is obtained by reacting a gluey silica dispersed in an organic solvent and a compound having a (meth)acryloyl group and an isocyanate group in molecule to bond the hydroxyl group of the gluey silica and the isocyanate group of the compound by urethane bond. Also the gluey silica-containing monomer is obtained by reacting a gluey silica dispersed in an organic solvent and an isocyanate compound having a polymerizable unsaturated group introduced into at least one isocyanate of at least two isocyanate groups, to bond the hydroxyl group of the gluey silica and the isocyanate group of the isocyanate compound by urethane bond. The curable resin composition is obtained by mixing the gluey silica-containing monomer and a polymerizable compound.
