Abstract

A piece of crystal is positioned between 2n input optical paths and 2n output optical paths. Each input optical path possesses input optical fiber, collimator and polarizer. Electrodes in each pair are paralleled each other. The light beam inputting surface of the 2n input optical paths paralleled each other is perpendicular to the crystal; or light beam inputting surface 401 of 2n input optical paths not paralleled each other is not perpendicular to the crystal. N pieces of 2X2 optical switches are integrated in single piece of crystal in the invention so as to realize integrated switch array between 2n input paths and 2n output paths.
