[0020] Next, the magnetron of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. A magnetron according to the present invention has a structure shown in a cross-sectional view of one embodiment in FIG. 1 . That is, one end is fixed on the inner peripheral wall of the cylindrical anode casing 11, and the front end 12a opposite to this end extends radially toward the center of the anode casing 11. By arranging a plurality of vanes 12 in this way, a shape is formed between adjacent anode casings. The anode 1 has a cavity 13 (see FIG. 1( b )) between the blades, and the cathode 2 is provided at the center of the anode 1 . Then a set of pole pieces 4 is provided for applying a magnetic field substantially parallel to the cathode 2 in the action space 3 opposite to the cathode 2 at the front end 12a of the blade 12 , and the side end 12b of the blade 12 is sandwiched between the pole pieces 4 .
