Problems solved by technology

However, radar devices are mostly installed at the same height as the ship, requiring a small and light design, and the installation of filters violates this requirement
In addition, since the processing accuracy of the filter must ensure the attenuation amount other than the fundamental wave, and at the same time, the fundamental wave can pass through without attenuation, so it is required to process it into a dimension with high precision, and there is a problem of high cost.

Embodiment Construction

[0020] Next, the magnetron of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. A magnetron according to the present invention has a structure shown in a cross-sectional view of one embodiment in FIG. 1 . That is, one end is fixed on the inner peripheral wall of the cylindrical anode casing 11, and the front end 12a opposite to this end extends radially toward the center of the anode casing 11. By arranging a plurality of vanes 12 in this way, a shape is formed between adjacent anode casings. The anode 1 has a cavity 13 (see FIG. 1( b )) between the blades, and the cathode 2 is provided at the center of the anode 1 . Then a set of pole pieces 4 is provided for applying a magnetic field substantially parallel to the cathode 2 in the action space 3 opposite to the cathode 2 at the front end 12a of the blade 12 , and the side end 12b of the blade 12 is sandwiched between the pole pieces 4 .

Abstract

The object to the present invention is to provide a magnetron which can reduce spurious oscillation such as the pi-1 mode which presents a problem particularly in magnetrons and can reduce spurious radiations without placing filters. The magnetron of the present invention includes an anode 1 formed by plural vanes 12 in such a manner that inner ends 12 are radially extended toward the center of the anode shell 11 from the inner wall of a cylindrical anode shell, and a cathode 2 provided at the center of the anode 1. The magnetron of the present invention further includes a pair of pole pieces 4 provided in such a manner that a magnetic field can be applied on the interaction space 2 where the inner ends 12a of the vanes 12 and the cathode 2 face with each other. At least one of the pair of pole pieces is provided in such a manner that in a range A at least 1 / 3 of the vane length L from the inner end 12a of the vane, the distance B between the side surfaces 12b of the vanes and the surface 4b adjacent the inner end 4a of the pole pieces 4 is within 0.015 lambda wherein lambda is the oscillation wavelength of the magnetron, and said vane length is a distance from said one end to said inner end.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a magnetron with microwave oscillation. In particular, it relates to a magnetron having a structure capable of effectively suppressing spurious mode oscillations. Background technique [0002] In recent years, restrictions on spurious radiation in devices radiating microwaves have gradually become stricter. In this trend, a magnetron as an oscillating tube is a device that is difficult to suppress spurious radiation on an oscillating mechanism. However, magnetrons are widely used in transmitters such as radar devices because of their low price, ease of handling, and high power available. Therefore, the development of products capable of suppressing the parasitic radiation of magnetrons is being widely carried out. [0003] In a general magnetron, the main oscillation mode is called the π mode, and the adjacent cavities oscillate in a mode that constitutes a phase difference of π radians. However, due to structural reasons, t...
