The invention relates to a gas-liquid separator for a portable fuel cell system. The gas-liquid separator comprises a gas-liquid separator cavity, a liquid suction soft pipe, a counterweight material,a fuel inlet, a fuel outlet, a gas-liquid mixture inlet, a gas outlet, a gas outlet pipe, a heat dissipator, a liquid level sensor, a baffle and other components, and has a symmetrical structure, wherein the liquid suction pipe is made of a flexible silicone rubber pipe capable of bending and having a certain strength, and naturally sags under the action of the counterweight material, the fuel inlet, the fuel outlet, the mixture inlet and the gas outlet pipe are respectively arranged on the centerline of the gas-liquid separator cavity, the gas-liquid mixing product of the fuel cell enters the gas-liquid separator cavity, and passes through the gas path formed by the baffle, and the water in the product is separated. Compared to the gas-liquid separator in the prior art, the gas-liquid separator of the present invention has the following advantages that the structure is simple, the water recovery does not require extra electric energy, and the gas-liquid separator can be used normallywithin an inclination angle range of +/-90 DEG.
