Embodiment 1

[0119] Embodiment 1 (the present invention)

[0120] 25 parts by weight of anionic silica sol (solids content 30%; available from Bayer AG  Levasil) and 0.4 parts by weight of ethoxylated fatty acid alcohol (  GenapolX80) to 100 parts by weight, and in a ratio of 1:1.5 with 0.5 parts by weight (potassium salt of 3-sulfopropyl O-ethyldithiocarbonate, available from Raschig AG  Raschig OPX) was mixed with a solution composed of an aqueous NaOH solution with a pH value of 9.5 to 100 parts by weight. 50 parts by weight of this first solution were mixed with 50 parts by weight of an antimony tin oxide solution (12% concentration in water; available from Leuchtstoffwerk Breitungen GmbH).

[0121] The resulting lacquer was then applied to a film made of polyethylene terephthalate (PET, available from DuPont Teijin Films) with a thickness of 50 μm by the manual knife-coating method.  On a diaphragm made of Melinex401). After the coating process the membrane exhibits a surfac...

Embodiment 2

[0128] Embodiment 2 (the present invention)

[0129] Example 1 was repeated, but this time the temperature of the wide slot die was lowered to 240°C. The coated side of the sheet exhibits a surface resistance greater than or equal to 10 after the coating process 6 Ω and less than 10 7 Ω, and its optical quality is comparable to that of Example 1.

[0130] The adhesion of the coating proved to be comparable to that in Example 1 and its surface resistance was also greater than or equal to 10 after 5000 cycles. 7 Ω and less than 10 8 Ω.

Abstract

The invention relates to a method of preparing diaphragm or sheet material of thermoplastics with conductive coating, which comprises: a) coats paint compound basing silicon and containing inorganic semiconductor particles on single surface of back diaphragm of thermoplastics; b) extrudes melt extrudate of thermoplastics; c) assembles the layer of coated of the back diaphragm and the melt extrudate of thermoplastics together; d) peels off the back diaphragm from the complex, and leaves the coating layer on the extrudated thermoplastics; e) unnecessarily, cools the thermoplastics to room temperature. The invention also relates to the extruded diaphragm or sheet material, and their application.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a process for the production of films or sheets made of thermoplastics with an electrically conductive (antistatic) coating, said films and sheets, and their use. Background technique [0002] It is well known that articles composed of plastics can accumulate static charges, such as those generated by friction. This electrification can cause many problems. There is an increased attraction to dirt particles or dust particles, which may lead to excessive soiling of the item. Unwanted electrical discharges on the photosensitive film can cause discharge spots and render the film unusable. In electronic equipment, charging and discharging static electricity can cause malfunctions. Personnel may receive electric shock when coming into contact with articles made of plastic. In extreme cases, electrical discharges may even cause dust explosions or ignite flammable substances. For applications in critical areas, the aim is therefor...
