Abstract

The invention relates to a source device for measuring pH value of liquid inside a flue gas desulfurization absorption tower and a method thereof. A lower source opening is arranged at the lower part of a tower wall of the absorption tower, while an upper source opening is arranged at the upper part of the tower wall of the absorption tower. The lower source opening is internally inserted with a lower connecting tube slant downwards, while the upper source opening is internally inserted with an upper connecting tube slant upwards; the upper connecting tube is connected with a shut-off valve thereof, but the lower connecting tube is connected with a shut-off valve thereof; the upper connecting tube is communicated with the upper part of the lower connecting tube, a flushing port is arranged below the lower part at the interface part of the two connecting tubes where the lower connecting tube located, and a fluidized tube is formed at a tube section from the interface part between the lower connecting tube and the upper connecting tube to a back cut of the lower connecting tube. A back cut of the fluidized tube is provided with a top cap, a contact terminal of a pH meter is inserted downwards inside the fluidized from the top cap, and the upper end of the pH meter is connected with the top cap through a connecting component. Under the action of gravity of slurry inside the absorption tower, the slurry is circled naturally, flushing water flushes gypsum crystal accumulated on the contact terminal of the pH meter through a flushing port, which can avoid abrasion and pollution and does not need any power equipment.
