Abstract

The invention relates to an antifriction material, which is used for producing friction products and braking gaskets and clutch friction plates in air planes, automobiles and trains. The invention provides a molybdenum disulphide antifriction material, which at least consists of a mixture containing molybdenum salt or more than 10 weight percent of molybdenum and scale graphite, wherein the content of the molybdenum salt or the mixture with molybdenum content of more than 10 weight percent is between 10 and 95 weight percent, and the rest is the scale graphite. The preparation method comprises the following steps: a. the materials are prepared; and b. the materials are processed into finished products. The antifriction material is similar to the high-purity molybdenum disulfide in performance, and can replace the high-purity molybdenum disulfide in a plurality of occasions, particularly in the production of friction materials or the braking gaskets and the clutch friction plates in the air planes, the automobiles and the trains, thereby greatly lowering production cost of products; and the production cost of the antifriction material is lower than that of the molybdenum disulfide, and solving the problems of high cost and unsuitable common application in the prior molybdenum disulfide.
