Abstract

The invention discloses a sensing wavelength demodulation scheme based on microwave power detection. A light signal with a wavelength to be measured is injected in a strength modulator and is modulated by a sinusoidal microwave signal under a small signal modulation condition; the modulated light signal is divided equally into two paths for transmission, wherein a first path light signal introduces microwave power attenuation effect caused by dispersion by a dispersion element, and a second path does not introduce dispersion; the light signal passes through a tuning light attenuator to balance the light power loss of the two paths; then, the two microwave powers of the two paths are detected by a photoelectric detector and a microwave power meter and inputted to a power comparison module at the same time to acquire a corresponding relation of a microwave power ratio and a wavelength to be measured, thus the wavelength to be measured is demodulated. The invention demodulates a momentary wavelength, is not influenced by the power fluctuation of an input light signal and has flexibly adjusted demodulation precision and demodulation range.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the fields of optical sensing demodulation and microwave photonics, in particular to a sensing wavelength demodulation scheme based on microwave power detection. Background technique [0002] Optical wavelength-based sensing technology has gradually become a hot spot in engineering applications due to its advantages in wavelength coding. One of the key links is the wavelength demodulation scheme, such as the reported filter demodulation, interference demodulation, and tunable scanning light source demodulation. and other typical methods. The wavelength demodulation method using microwave signal detection has been initially reported (Xinyong Dong, Liyang Shao, H.Y.Fu, H.Y.Tam, and C.Lu, Intensity-modulated fiber Bragg grating sensorsystem based on radio-frequency signal measurement, Optics Letters, vol .33, pp.482-484, 2008), and showed the advantages of high-speed demodulation and adjustable sensitivity, but the demodulation r...
