Abstract

In the process of pulping the old corrugated carton by the sulfite method, water is added to adjust the water-liquid ratio to 1:5-1:6; a mixed steamed medicament of sulfurous acid and magnesium sulfite accounting for 4 mass percent of the absolute dry old corrugated carton, wherein the sulfurous acid is 4 mass percent of the mixed steamed medicament; the highest steaming temperature is between 140 and 145 DEG C; and heat insulation time is 25 to 30 minutes. The kappa number of the obtained paper pulp is 52.7; the whiteness of the obtained paper pulp is 25.0 percent ISO; and the yield of the paper pulp is 85 percent. The chemical process for pulping the old corrugated carton reduces the kappa numberof the paper pulp, improves the whiteness of the paper pulp, and enlarges the reutilization range of the old corrugated carton.
