Abstract

The invention discloses a method for genetic transformation of agrobacterium rhizogenes-mediated anthrium andraeanum, which belongs to the field of plant genetic engineering. The method comprises the following main steps of: performing co-culturing on a callus, serving as explants, of the anthrium andraeanum and agrobacterium rhizogenes; and transferring the mixture to a selective culture medium to perform screening culture until resistance bugs grow into complete plants. The method performs the genetic transformation on the anthrium andraeanum, and the obtained transformation ratio is 5.5 percent which shows that the method has a high transformation ratio. Therefore, the method lays a foundation for stable expression of an exogenous gene in the anthrium andraeanum, and has a great significance for genetic improvement of the anthrium andraeanum.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an agrobacterium-mediated genetic transformation method of anthurium. Background technique [0002] Anthuriun andreanum L. is a perennial herb of the genus Anthuriun in the family Araceae. Native to the tropical rainforest of South America, it grows in a humid and semi-shady valley environment, prefers shade and heat, and is currently widely cultivated in the Netherlands, Israel and Hawaii. Anthurium is a high-end flower that is very popular and loved by people in the world. Its flower shape is noble and elegant, its flower branches are unique, and it can bloom all year round. It has become a popular high-end cut flower material and potted plant species in the world. The quality of many ornamental plants is affected by high or low temperature, and anthurium is no exception. It is very sensitive to temperature: the suitable growth temperature is 25°C-28°C; when the temperature exceeds 30°C, it will brown and die; below 18°C, i...
