Abstract

The invention relates to a comb-shaped polymer and a preparation method and application thereof. The comb-shaped polymer is prepared by the chemical modification method, wherein different kinds and lengths of polar functional groups are introduced in maleic anhydride and the side chains of alpha-olefine copolymer. The compound for modifying side chains is polyethylene glycol (PEG), polypropylene glycol (PPG) or polybutylene glycol (PBG). Experimental results show that the comb-shaped polymer can be used in the viscosity reducer of high-viscosity crude oil to separately reduce the apparent viscosities of a Liaoho thick oil sample 1 and sample 2 to 99% and 94% of the initial viscosities of the samples at 20 DEG C, and lead to the obvious shear thinning phenomenon.
