Abstract

The water-retaining agent comprises by weight: 85-95 parts of humic acid, 1-6 parts of sodium polyacrylate, 1-5 parts of additives, and 0.2-1.3 parts of agricultural rare earth nitrate. Specifically, the additives are at least selected from two of zinc sulfate, manganese sulfate, borax, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, and potassium nitrate. The composite water-retaining agent containing trace elements of the invention not only has a water retention effect for plants, but also can provide nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and other trace elements necessary for plant growth. Thus, application of only the water-retaining agent provided in the invention can satisfy the dual functions of water retention and trace element supply.
