Problems solved by technology

[0002] With people's increasing awareness of environmental protection, safety and health, countries around the world have begun to focus on the research, development and application of environmentally friendly flame retardants, especially for dangerous and flammable materials such as wires and cables, which are more and more widely used. The flame retardant formulations used in wires and cable sheaths are generally: light calcium carbonate, mica powder, diatomaceous earth, talc powder, aluminum hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, and the cost of wires and cable sheaths produced with these raw materials High, poor surface smoothness, generally 15 to 20 years of service life, short service life, can not meet high requirements and high cost, not conducive to widespread promotion

Abstract

The invention relates to a calcined marlite powder flame-retardant material which is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 15-30 parts of vinyl acetate, 8.3-9.5 parts of ethylene, 7-9 parts of polyethylene, 5-7 parts of toughener, 10-20 parts of aluminum hydroxide, 0.3-0.8 part of stearic acid, 0.5-0.9 part of silicone, 0.4-0.7 part of coupling agent, 0.5-0.9 part of semi-refined paraffin wax, 1.5-3 parts of color batch, 0.3-0.6 part of antioxidant 1010, 0.2-0.5 part of antioxidant 168, 10-60 parts of calcined marlite powder and 3-9 parts of cross-linked polyethylene. The marlite powder is ceramic-like paracrystal powder which has high temperature resistance, wear resistance, high electrical insulation degree, water resistance and other properties. The comprehensive properties, including mechanical properties, environmental stress crack resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, creep resistance and electric properties, of the cross-linked polyethylene material (of which the service life is up to 50 years at the low temperature of -75 DEG C to the high temperature of 185 DEG C) are added to the calcined marlite powder flame-retardant material.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a flame retardant material, in particular to a calcined marl powder flame retardant material used for injection molding low-voltage wires, cable sheaths and other products that require environmental protection and flame retardant.
