Abstract

The invention discloses a prawns quality detecting and classifying device based on a machine vision technology. The prawns quality detecting and classifying device based on the machine vision technology include a laying-off system, an image acquisition system, a classifying mechanism, a conveyor belt, a computer system and a controller system. A camera is fixed at the top end of a lighting box which is fixed above the conveyor belt, and a white unsmooth coating is painted on inner walls of the lighting box. Light source is light-emitting diode (LED) soft strip type light source belts which are distributed on four inner walls of the lighting box. Light source illuminates upwards, and reflects to the surface of the prawn through the white coating of the inner walls. After processing the collected image in a real time, the computer obtains corresponding information of the quality characteristic of the prawns and classifies that, and then controls a spray valve through a controller. Passing through a corresponding spray valve, the prawns with a different quality classification are blown into a corresponding collecting groove, while the prawns not blown by the spray valve directly drop into the collecting groove arranged at the ends of the conveyor belt.
