Problems solved by technology

Chest radiography is the most commonly used diagnostic method for pneumothorax, but many studies have shown that its sensitivity and accuracy are not high. It has been reported that 54.8% of patients with chest trauma cannot be diagnosed by chest radiography.
CT examination is the gold standard for the diagnosis of pneumothorax, but it also has certain defects, such as the existence of radioactivity that will cause electromagnetic radiation hazards to the human body, the need to transport critically ill patients, and the relatively high cost. It is difficult to become a routine detection method
Ultrasound examination can diagnose pneumothorax more conveniently, quickly and reliably, but there are certain limitations in the diagnosis of pneumothorax by ultrasound.
More importantly, the three traditional detection methods of chest radiography, CT, and ultrasound are not suitable for the diagnosis of tension pneumothorax at the disaster rescue site.

Embodiment Construction

[0021] The present invention will be described in detail below in conjunction with specific embodiments.

[0022] According to the difference between the ultra-wide-spectrum electromagnetic characteristics of the lung tissue under normal conditions and the pathological state of the pneumothorax, the invention uses a micro-power ultra-wide-spectrum handheld bio-radar to quickly detect and diagnose pneumothorax. It can realize the early and rapid detection of pneumothorax at the disaster site and solve the problem of pneumothorax detection at the disaster site or battlefield. It has high practical value and application prospects.

Abstract

The invention discloses a tension pneumothorax detection system based on ultra wide spectrum biological radar. The tension pneumothorax detection system comprises an impulse source, a control module, a receiving machine, an ultra wide band exploration antenna, a data preprocessing module and a data analysis module, wherein the pulse source is an AVM-2-C pulse source in an AvTech company; the control module generates an external triggering signal for controlling the pulse source by taking an ARM9 2410 processor as a main control unit and controls the pulse source to generate a required ultra wide band narrow pulse with the pulse width of 0.2ns and the amplitude of 4V; and the control module sends a data acquisition signal to the receiving machine. A scientific method that pneumothorax is detected by using the ultra wide spectrum biological radar is primarily put forward, a radar technology and a medical diagnosis technology are combined by taking the scientific method as a core, and technological methods for building an accurate ultra wide spectrum electromagnetic model of human chest tissues, detecting pneumothorax radar signals and extracting characteristics are put forward.

Description

Technical field [0001] The invention relates to a tension pneumothorax detection system based on an ultra-wide spectrum biological radar. Background technique [0002] Pneumothorax, especially tension pneumothorax (TPT), occurs at various disaster sites. It is a life-threatening emergency. The condition is serious and develops rapidly. It needs urgent treatment. If it is not handled properly or in time, it usually causes or aggravates the wounded breathing. Physiological dysfunction of important organs, such as circulatory system, directly leads to the death of the wounded. Therefore, pneumothorax is one of the main causes of death in the early stage of chest trauma. In disaster accidents, the incidence of tension pneumothorax is high and gradually rising: There are reports in foreign literature that the rate of patients diagnosed with tension pneumothorax outside the hospital and requiring puncture decompression has risen from 0.7% to 30%, such as in London pre-hospital emergenc...
