Abstract

The invention relates to a puncture- and rupture-resistant special-purpose sheet aluminum-plastic packaging film which belongs to the field of novel packaging materials for medicine, food and other irregular-shaped objects. The film is characterized by being a composite of polyester film and hard aluminum foil. The film comprises, by weight percentage, 25% of polyester film and 75% of hard aluminum foil. The outer surface of the hard aluminum foil is evenly coated with a heat-sealing adhesive (VC), and the polyester film and the hard aluminum foil are bonded together by an adhesive. The amount of air permeability is largely reduced; the rupture strength is improved as well as the toughness and the rigidity; and the heat seal strength is reinforced. Compared with common aluminum-plastic composite materials, the film is substantially improved in performance, as the film obtains puncture-resistant and rupture-resistant features. Compared with composite materials of nylon, soft aluminum foil and polyethylene, the film is not much different in performance indices, while the cost is much lower.
