Abstract

The invention relates to a molecular maker developing and positioning method of a brown cotton fiber gene Lc1. The molecular marker linked with the Lc1 gene is firstly obtained, wherein the genetic distance between NAU1043 and Lc1 is 3.85cM, and the genetic distance between the marker NAU2862 and the Lc1 is 7.75cM, wherein both of the genetic distances can be used for assistant breeding of the molecular marker of the gene. The auxiliary breeding selection target is clear and definite by utilizing the NAU1043 and NAU2862 molecular markers disclosed by the invention, so that the breeding time can be saved without being affected by the environment, the efficiency can be improved, and the breeding cost can be lowered. Moreover, the technical base is laid for further map-based cloning of the Lc1 gene.
