Abstract

The oxidation degree determination method is characterized by being built through an extraction-ultraviolet photometry method according to good correlation among the antioxidant content, the acid value and the absorbance of a lubricating oil extract at a 260nm ultraviolet absorption spectrum in the oxidation process of the lubricating oil. The method comprises the following implementation steps of pre-treating a sample; preparing an extract; determining the absorbance; and calculating the oxidation degree according to an equation.
